1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RosterThat ("the Service"), operated at rosterthat.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by RosterThat ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Organizations and Data

The Service allows you to create and manage organizations. As an organization owner or administrator, you are responsible for all content and data entered into your organization, including the personal information of people you add to your rosters. You represent that you have the necessary permissions to store and manage this data, and that you will comply with all applicable data protection laws when entering personal information of third parties.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
Impersonate any person or entity

6. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase.

Free Plan: Provides limited access to features at no cost and may be subject to usage limits.
Paid Plans: Billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your use of Stripe is subject to the Stripe Services Agreement.
Trials: We may offer free trial periods. At the end of a trial, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Price Changes: We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted data), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Portal and Shared Access

The Service provides token-based portal links that allow third parties to access limited information (such as roster assignments and availability submission) without creating an account. As the organization administrator who generates these links, you are responsible for distributing them appropriately and revoking access when necessary.

9. Email Communications

The Service may send emails on your behalf (such as roster assignment notifications, swap requests, and portal links) to individuals you have added to your organization. You represent that you have obtained appropriate consent from these individuals to receive such communications.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
